This is a case study for Unilever, Leeds.
Two specially designed AHU’s were provided for a new production facility. Careful consideration had to be given to the ATEX requirements of the project as all return / extract path components were classed as being in a hazardous area and had to be suitably protected.
Each AHU had a design flow rate of 10.0M3/s and was fitted with high efficiency plate to plate crossflow heat recovery devices. Special controls access compartments were added to the units to suit the client’s specific requirements.
A specialist delivery vehicle was deployed to carefully transport and position the single piece units onto the plant deck.
