Specialist High-Security Classified Processing Plants – New Design, Build, and Installation of AHU System

Project Overview

CLP Air Group successfully completed four separate projects for a client’s specialist processing plants in the North West of the UK. Meeting the Challenge

Working alongside the client, CLP Air Group provided a solution that met the strict security and operational demands of the processing plants. The top-security requirements on-site meant that the project had to be executed with a high level of discretion, and the design had to minimise disruption and personnel involvement.

Innovative Design and Installation

• Delivered a fully packaged controls/refrigerant pre-assembled system to streamline installation and reduce on-site labour.
• Utilised a large supply-only AHU, complete with pre-piped condensing units and pre-wired controls, minimising installation time and ensuring ease of integration.
• Designed the system to meet the client’s needs of reducing personnel on-site and minimising the frequency of personnel visits during installation.
• Fully commissioned the complete system, ensuring all functionality of components and maximising the energy efficiency of the AHU.
• Ensured the system met the client’s classified security and confidentiality requirements throughout the entire process.

Results

The completed AHU systems were installed with minimal disruption, meeting both the client’s operational needs and security requirements. The solution significantly reduced the need for on-site personnel, allowing the client to maintain the necessary levels of security and discretion.
